CFE is dedicating in promoting regional flavor condiment

Recently, according the China Condiment Industry Association (CCIA), CCIA is cooperating with Hedong District of the Municipal Government of Linyi, Shandong province, to promote the local pickles by staging the regional flavor food on CFE 2010.
According to Director Wang of the Municipal Government, the local authority has attached a great importance to the development of the local pickles manufacturing industry. In recent years, the local pickle manufacturing industry has shown a notable growth and developed into a major engine for the local economic development. In order to promote the industry growth and raise the awareness of Hedong pickles in the country, the local government is planning to promote Hedong Pickle as a regional brand to the whole country. In the mean time, CFE, as the leading specialized trade show in this category, gathers over 10 thousand seasoning dealers every year and has been in the spot light of the condiment industry. The platform will accelerate the progress of promoting Hedong Pickle both to the country and the world.
A representative of the organizing committee of CFE told the author that there is the strong characteristic of the condiment production in China, which is regional flavor. For instance, there are Shanxi Mature Vinegar, Fuling Mustard, Meishan Kimchi and Sichuan Hot Pot Condiment. Most of them enjoy popularity all over the country. To facilitate the further development of the condiment industry in China, CFE 2010 is cooperating with regional authorities and industry associations to create an integrated image of the regional condiments in order to well promote them to the market.
